“ Drove by many times and finally decided to try it. So glad I did! Exactly what I was craving: crispy chicken, well seasoned, and good ratio of chicken to coating. This will be my go-to for fried chicken in Kirkland. The service was friendly and patient, even while training new staff. I ordered 7 pieces of mixed wings in original flavor with honey mustard dipping sauce. The drumsticks were pleasantly large! This was enough dinner for 2 adults (and sides at home) but if you’re very hungry you might get 14 pieces instead. Can’t wait to eat here again! ”
“ So so good. Crisp and tender. We ordered the original, soy garlic and yangnyum (favorites in this order). Came here on a weekday lunch so wasn’t too crowded. So far my favorite Korean fried chicken place in the Seattle area. ”
“ We were driving by, and I am just amazed at the chicken we had! When I think of Korean Fried Chicken, I think of the sauce, the moist and juicy insides, and the crispy skin of the fried chicken. My partner had the yangnyum chicken (mixed), and I ordered the chi-bap. The yangnyum spiciness was the restaurant's 2 out of 4 rating, but I felt it was the right amount of sweet and spicy. Next time, I personally would try something spicier! Sauce was finger-licking good! My partner wasn't too impressed with the crunchiness of the fried chicken wings and drumsticks, but I thought their tenders actually had captured that crispiness! But we understand that the balance of the crisp and sauce coating can be hard to master. But this was still delicious! The chi-bap was quite good too. We choose the grilled chicken option and the staff was polite to let us know that it was going to take longer to cook. The grilled chicken was juicy and the sauce ratio felt decent. The grilled kimchi was so good! Not burnt at all but had the right balance of what I expected a delicious grilled kimchi to be. There was so little, it was so delicious I could eat more! The radish were not too vinegary. Can't wait to come by around here again to try out more. (Also, it's nice that there's a market literally next to it. We didn't try the drinks from the restaurant but you could easily buy a drink or even some small ice cream on the way out through the market.) ”
“ Hands-down, the best Korean chicken I’ve had around the greater Seattle area. It was spicy flavorful. It came with the side of fries. Prices were reasonable. The chicken was not overly breaded. It was nice and flaky. I will definitely be returning. I can’t wait to share with my friends and family who love Korean chicken. The staff were all Really sweet! Seyera went above and beyond placing my order. I would like it a bit more saucy and wet but overall it was delicious! Excited to try other side dishes and entrees! Keep up the good work, && please stay consistent! Deff check them out! Please keep the spice level as is it’s just PERFECT!!! ”
“ Fast service and tasty, crispy chicken! We got the full set original, lemonade, and cheese balls. Get the cheese balls with chicken. ”
“ Okay, let me just say this—Korean fried chicken, specifically the soy garlic flavor, is absolutely unmatched. I don’t know what kind of magic they put into that sauce, but it’s insane. The perfect balance of sweet and savory, with just a hint of garlic that doesn’t overwhelm—pure genius. And the chicken itself? Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and it somehow stays that way, even if it’s been sitting there for a while (not that it lasts long around me). I’ve tried a ton of fried chicken in my life, but soy garlic Korean fried chicken? On another level. If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you even doing? Just go get some. Trust me. It’s that good. ”
“ Zip Dak delivers some seriously impressive Korean fried chicken. The crispiness is on point, locking in all the juicy goodness inside. Their sauce coatings add just the right balance of flavor without overpowering the chicken. The cheese ball, however, was just okay—not a standout for me. Overall, it’s a solid spot for KFC lovers, and we’ll definitely be back for more! ”
“ Food was excellent. As taste as like Korean. If you're on the hunt for bold flavors and a unique take on fried chicken, Zip Dark Chicken is definitely worth checking out. This spot serves up chicken with a twist , which adds richness and flavor to every bite. I started with the Wings, which were crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was flavorful and had just the right amount of heat without overwhelming the taste of the chicken. The honey sriracha glaze added a sweet and spicy kick that complemented the rich dark meat beautifully. ”
